2006 Athlete Race Results:
Dec 10, 2006 -
Rose Kosgei ran a beautiful race in Dallas to win the Dallas Whiterock
Half Marathon in a fast 74:18. Congratulations Rose!! Caroline
Cheptanui also competed well by running 3rd in the same race, good
going! In Puerto Rico, Emily Chebet was 3rd and Rebecca Tallam 4th in a
10k event there. The ladies are running very consistently.
Dec 3, 2006 -
We traveled to warmer confines of Palm Beach,FL and Barbados for hot
weather racing. In Palm Beach, Charles Kiplagat won his first US race
by besting the marathon field in 2:25 in difficult conditions. Rebecca
Tallam also won her first US race in the women's Half of Palm Beaches
in 1:17. Macdonald Ondara overcame a painful leg injury to finish 3rd
in the half. In Barbados, Richard Kimeli impressively ran 2nd in
back-to-back races on simultaneous days running a 10k on Saturday and a
half marathon on Sunday. WOW! Emily Chebet ran a very close 3rd in the
ladies 10k and Abraham Kosgei was 4th in the half marathon in very hot
conditions. Congratulations on a successful weekend.

- It was a Happy Thanksgiving as we had much success in 3 cities today.
Macdonald Ondara won the Run to Feed the Hungry in Sacramento with a
time of 28:55 just off the course record of 28:46. Also, Edward Muge
won the Pederson Volvo 4 Miler in Fort Collins, CO. Congratulations to
all the athletes who did extremely well.

Another exciting half harathon at the OBX Half in Outerbanks, NC.
Macdonald Ondara won the race in 1:06:22 and Richard Kimeli finished
just behind (2nd) in 1:06:33. Congratulations on another victory!

Congratulations to Haron Lagat and Emily Chebet as they both BROKE
their own personal records over the 8kdistance at the Ntelos 8K in
Richmond, VA. Haron ran a time of 25:43 and Emily also broke the
established COURSE RECORD by finishing in 25:29!! Wow!!

Edward Muge wins The Half in Dallas, Tx. Edward finished the half
marathon course in 65:31, well ahead of his rivals around Whiterock
Lake today. Congratulations Edward! He has won his first two road races
here in the United States.
Oct 29, 2006 -
In a very exciting and beautiful race, Macdonald and Richard finished
3rd and 4th respectively in the Big Sur Half Marathon. Macdonald lead
the race from the 3 mile mark until mile 11.5 when he was edged in the
final mile+. Both Macdonald and Richard BEAT the old course record at
the Big Sur Half. Congratulations on a superb effort!!
Oct 22, 2006 - Congratulations to Haron Lagat and Emily Chebt for winning the man's
and women's elite divisions of the Santa Monica 5000!!! Haron edged out
the 2nd place finisher in a time of 14:12 and Emily won easlily in
16:18. It was Emily's first race on American soil. Edward Muge also won the men's 10k race in 29:42 in his first race in the U.S!!
Oct 15, 2006- Richard Kimeli wins the United Space Alliance 10 Miler!! Richard ran
a time of 50:16 on a rainy and very wet Houston morning. CONGRATULATIONS
ON YOUR 1ST WIN IN THE U.S.!

Hannah Chepkoech Mitei finishes 4th in the Baltimore Half Marathon and
our newest member, Macdonald Ondara finishes 5th in his first race in
the United States!

Great Success! We traveled to National City, CA for the innaugural
National City 1 Mile Invitational. Our newest member, Haron Lagat ran
an impressive 2nd on the hilly road course in 4:11. Equally impressive
was Richard Kimeli's 3rd place finish in 4:12. Congratulations to both
on beating world class competition!
Sept 23, 2006 - Hannah Chepkoech Mitei places 5th in the St Luke's Celebration 5k with a personal best 16:41!
